solar tube installation

I bought 3 solar tubes NOB to be installed here ... they sell one brand in Guad, so they are around. So far, I have not been able to find any one locally who knows how to install these. It's not rocket science ... mostly making sure to cut (or chop) the correct size hole and install "properly" (that's the magical part). Anyone with any leads on someone who has installed or might be a likely candidate for installing these 3 .... please post here or send a PM. THANKS!!!!!

Are you talking about dark colored solar evacuated tubes with copper heat pipes inside (about 5 feet long) for use with a solar hot water tank system?

no ... this comes out of what is an appropriate technology area ....
it is a tube that goes through the roof and lets sunlight in, but it is refractive (If I have the correct word). The light comes in a domed top and reflected at an angle so that you don't get the sun directly .... so you have lots and lots of sunlight, but no fading for clothes or anything.

If you look at SolaTube, or just 'google, you will see a variety of them, but all the same technology. I had them when I lived in Las Vegas ... they don't let the heat in, just lots of light.

Okay, now I understand! Interesting technology...

We had one in Tucson & liked it. In Mexico, I assume you have a masonry roof, so will need to simply create a proper hole, then install and caulk, according to the instructions.
