My great hope today was to take more photographs at the farmers market but when I looked out my window we are having a lite rain. I suppose vendors will take out their huge umbrellas and press on, whereas my camera is only water-resistant and I am not willing to take the chance of having it drown. Hopefully, it will clear later and I can get some new photos, we will just have to wait and see, won't we.

In the current day and age of Social Media, everyone needs a great headshot for INSIDE LAKESIDE, TWITTER, FACEBOOK, etc. So on Saturday the 28th of September at 1 PM in the Plaza we are in search of the perfect headshot. Hopefully, photographers and prospective models will come and we will begin our search. If you need a great headshot to use in your social media, please join us.

I can't speak for the other photographers who attend our meet-up on 9/28/19 at 1 Pm but I can tell you
I will post the headshots I shoot on my website and they can be downloaded here for free,  If the other photographers wish to share them with you they may email them to me and I will post them on my website alongside mine. Photographers I would like for us to shoot on manual with an aperture of 4.5 and shutter speed of 200, I will meter the correct ISO for those settings.

I realize if you own an f1.2 or 1.4 lenses you want to shoot with those settings, but for a headshot having the eye closest to the lens only in focus is not enough. The tip of the nose and the ear and hair should be in focus too. This is why I am requesting for us all to shoot at f4.5.
