I have a small area that I need prepped and sodded. Any recommendations?

I would ask for someone to help at the places that sell the sod. One place is just up the road behind the Ajijic Clinic and the other is the vivero behind Superlake. I highly suspect that you know more about laying sod than they do so ask them "how" they are going to do it and then supervise. The last time I had to lay sod was in San Pancho and they certainly didn't put topsoil underneath it and they certainly didn't butt the edges together and then tamp down. Yours to discover.
BTW, we removed that sod after less than a year and replaced it with wide spaced flagstone and decorative stones in between.
