Yeah I agree. If you have vision problems don't drive at night. I don't on certain roads.

I don't drive at night unless I have to. And then I only drive short distances: the same 1.5 km back and forth, once a week. But you know, thanks all for giving me the consideration due a mature, responsible man. I won't pleasure you anymore with this.

I have a pair of terrific blue blocker glasses for night driving....they are almost clear, unlike the cheapies I use for the computer, tv ,etc...but they work really well. I too have had cataract surgery and lens implants but they don't explain to you beforehand how your night driving might be affected. These Do help!

WillieRae, can you tell me more? I just ordered a blue pair for daytime, but I doubt they will be any good at night. Do yours help reduce glare?

Yeah, those are yellow filtered for blue, and I bought one or two over the years... they are definitely a waste. But he is talking about blue, and that makes me curious, because they are clear these days. Research says it's baloney, but he says it helps.

Computer Guy....the brand is Cyxus and I'm pretty sure they came from Amazon.
They really do help with glare for me, it's not totally gone but tolerable...ymmv. I don't feel like I'm going to have an accident.

Cool! Here're the links on Amazon... not so pricey that they're not worth a try... AND they will ship direct to Mexico.

Since I need glasses for driving, I was also interested to see if they had a clip on variety... and they do...

Thanks WillieRae!

I have a set of the yellow tinted one's for night driving. While they aren't perfect they definitely reduce the glare from oncoming vehicles.

I have 3 pairs of the yellow ones that I use in the house....my eyes just go ahhh when I put them on. Probably not for everyone as they do change the colors -blue IS blocked- but you get used to it. Much better for the eyes.

For what purpose do you use them in the house, WR?
