The yellow tape is still there but I bypassed it a couple of weeks ago to do some fishing and no one said a word.

Is Jalisco walking back next week's opening until June 1st???

GDl Reporter story
Alfaro spent a large part of Thursday, May 14, on social media explaining his strategy to his constituents. However, he was dealt a unexpected punch late in the day when experts from the University of Guadalajara Covid-19 Situation Health Room issued a bulletin urging him to reconsider his plans, and maintain the current lockdown in place until June 1. This leaves Alfaro in a predicament, since he has relied heavily on the UdG team for scientific guidance on how to manage the pandemic in the state. As of press time, the governor had not issued a response to the university’s observations.

Then this later in the day at Alfaro's FB page,

Enrique Alfaro Ramírez

To make it clear. Phase zero doesn't mean that business will be reopened on Monday. It means that the economic activities included at this stage will begin the process of accreditation of health and testing protocols #COVID19, as approved at the economic reactivation table last Wednesday.
Until this happens, these businesses will be able to start activities. For the next 13 days we will be focused on that.

And this explanation at a local website, today,

State government corrects: reopening June 1
Posted by admin on 16 May 2020 JALISCO

They indicate that "Phase 0", which begins on Monday, means the initiation of protocols so that the economy begins to recover
After a confusion about the reopening of certain transfers next Monday, the Governor of Jalisco clarified that "Phase 0" is only the beginning of the application of protocols for the restart of gradual activities in the economy, so that businesses will not open but until June 1.

I know a lot of businesses reopening on Monday with safety protocols in place. I have talked with some restaurant owners, bar owners and shop owners. Ourselves included. If they want it shut down they can serve new closure papers. We are paying fairly expensive rent and can't keep closed much longer. We will be following proper protocols. No one is forced to shop if they feel unsafe.

What business are you in other than your rentals Bob? I noticed you mentioned your tax rate was rather high. Sorry I looked again and it said rent not taxes. My mistake.

Went to WalMart (Jacksonville FL) to pu a prescription and a few necessary items on Saturday afternoon, and I was appalled at how many shoppers were not wearing masks (kids either) and not practicing distancing. I got out of there quick. I guess there is a significant amount of people that just don't give a rats arse who they infect. There will be a significant increase in cases for sure as things open up here.

@RoyD   Citizens often look to their leaders as to whether to wear a mask or not; few states require them, though some localities do.

Here's a video of your FL governor putting on a mask.  I guess he's my governor too, as FL is my Home of Record for voting.

We have our rentals and a small womens boutique. We are registered with Hacienda and pay taxes on both. No income so no taxes so that's not a problem.

Good one bisbeegal. I have a particular issue myself, knocking my hearing aids off trying to put on or take off my mask. Does not make me a bad person. Very Happy

But I'm guessing you know UP from UPSIDE DOWN. DeSantis doesn't know his arse from 2nd base.

You'd think he'd have at least practiced it, knowing he was about to appear on live TV. Obviously I am not a fan of him or his leader, tRump.

Jeez, is there some new testing process for politicians now? They can't have an IQ over twelve?

IQ over 12 and the GOP, mutually exclusive. They're the Double Digit Club.

Yeah, I was in Costco PV yesterday where they don't let anyone in without a mask, but then I saw quite a few shoppers who had dropped the mask around their neck once they were in the store and walking around shopping. I'd say there were an equal number of Mexicans and gringoes who were doing this. Effin' jerk-offs.

Give them their distance, that´s the best solution for something you can´t control.
