I'm told there is now a Dengue Fever vaccine available at Lakeside. 

Does anyone know about its efficacy?

It was originally available to those under 50 who at at least once contracted dengue. I heard it was a bust and didn't fully protect you.

It was taken off the market approx. 3 years ago. It proved to be significantly effective in post marketing studies.

Sorry for the TYPO. I meant NOT significantly better than the placebo.
It was not effective.

I have dengue fever now, three years ago l had the vaccine, last year i had a minor case of dengue, now l have a major case of degue fever l never been so sick so the vaccination did not help
