Nothing to do with Mexico, other than this would be a cool Jolly ride locally. I know CB is a fan of this sort of thing, and the board is pretty quiet.

I just put a new engine in mine two days ago. High compression pistons, forged rods and performance camshaft, custom intake manifold and exhaust. Goes like a scalded cat now......lol.

Before I came down I had a "Volks Air" compressor made by the VW expert in Surrey. It is a kit, which involves some welding, two of the cylinders compress air, two run on gas. It is basically a 28 hp compressor, and it really howls the air at 58 cfm and 100 psi. It automatically unloads the air when not in use. They are used as a portable sandblaster (fits through doorways) or to power air hammers and the like. My potential use was to power concrete sprayers. The owner of the VW business has a whole farm full of vintage VWs and parts. Specialises in vans.
