Fire stick

Hola

I don't know anything about a fire stick but wondered if it would be beneficial to me.

I stream all my channels I have from Telus in Canada at my house here. Telus gives me all the sports and news I need. I have Netflix and Prime that I stream.

Is it worth me to get a firestick ? I'm not a big movie watcher.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

There’s many streaming channels that would open up but you would have to pay a fee for most of them. In the end you end up watching what you’re watching now. I’ve tried Roku, Apple, Fire stick and have signed up for Hulu, Netflix, Prime, Apple TV, Disney. Now all I have is Netflix and Prime.

How about getting a Firestick jailbroken? Doing it myself is over my pay grade?

I am paying Shaw for the last 20 years. If I went firestick I would need major abc,cbs, nbc, fox, food, DIY, PBS, CNN HGTV. Would I need to pay a service to get these? Do I need to upgrade my internet?

$2000p includes a presetup Firestick and 90 minutes of demo/instruction. Everything is on it, but be warned: a lot of it requires major surfing through the various icons onscreen. There are basically no onscreen TV guides, like Shaw. But Rich will explain it all.

No. One time charge only. And encourages you to Whatsapp him if you need help. To me, the guys running these "monthly" fee things are ripping everyone off.

Harry, hard to tell if your Internet needs upgraded if we don't know what you have now.....

Incidentally, you are getting better speed than I am and I pay 599 pesos per month. It's all about where you are located and whether you have fibre or not.
