Water Testing?

We are renting a condo in Riberas and are wondering about water quality from their filtration system. Not so concerned about heavy metals more the biological water quality?

Any testing available Lakeside?

Used lab next to Marissa's in Ajijic several years ago. It's changed names since then, now Isis Lab. They were fast on results via email.  Have used for routine medical tests recently and they remain reliable and fast.

Thank you. I realize that results can vary depending on many factors. This is a small newer 6 unit condo complex with the complex owner living in one. To all appearances, maintenance is a high priority but we are mostly curious about water for ice maker and drinking water from the refrig. We are provided large bottles of purified water but ice cube trays would take up too much room in the small freezer compartment.

Anyone have any experience with the cost of such tests?

fyi, I found our test results, done by Chopo which ran that location in 2017.  We had the house we bought tested for bacteria as the UV system was in disrepair and we wanted to be sure it was safe to drink after we had it updated.

Don't remember the cost, which probably indicates it wasn't expensive (I tend to remember those!).  

It's a basic test and likely any lab will run, and you can ask for cost beforehand.

If anyone is interested, the cost of a biologic water test is $375MXN.

Since we are primarily concerned with ice maker and water through refrigerator door, we are only testing that source. It only makes sense to test bathroom sink water if you wish to use for brushing teeth. I guerss the number of tests depends on your system layout?
