Costco wholesale phone number

I went to Costco on Lopez Mateos today as I am looking for a more or less complete set of Tfal pots and pans. That Costco had exactly what I was looking for but I could not buy it. They said I would have to order it from Costco Wholesale and have it delivered. I could not buy it in a Costco store. Years ago I signed up for Costco Wholesale and I use Costco stores on a regular basis. They wanted the password that I used when I signed up for Costco
Wholesale about 10 years ago. I did not have my list of passwords with me but now that I am home I see it . They said I had to phone Costco and reactivate my account. They gave me the phone number for Costco Wholesale but but when I phone it a message comes on saying that number does not exist.
Does anyone have the correct phone number for Costco Wholesale?
It sounds like a bunch of nonsense (Costco and Costco Wholesale are separate) but what can I do?

I have tried that number-they give you another number to try and carry on a difficult conversation. They concluded by saying that you had to go to that particular store and talk to them. Which I have already done. A curious situation.

That is not the right phone number-you have to do it in person. I went this Thursday to Costco Lopez Mateos June 30th and a manager after talking to Mexico city for an hour says he sorted it out.
We'll see.
