Chest Xray

Where would you recommend to have a chest xray done at a good price?

Depending on your symptoms, a CT scan may be more appropriate as they are far more comprehensive.

I had 2 CT scans of chest done in May at San Antonio Hospital, first one showed pneumonia and its extent; the 2nd to show it had cleared after treatment.

Fast with comprehensive written reports. Reports and images sent via email to me and my doctor.

I have also used the SAT hospital for x-rays as well as the imaging lab beside Chapala Med which is just past Laguna Mall.

Chopo Labs by Pancho's or SAT hospital have newer X-ray equipment which provide the resolution needed to make a diagnosis. While the place next to Tio Sam's may be cheaper, the machines are quite old, thus poor resolution films & I had to get them done again elsewhere. Not happy about that. I would think Chopo would be cheaper - it's digitalized, so @doctor's inbox within hours; send to yourself as back-up & own records. SAT Hospital tried to charge me extra for hardcopy films once.. I said NO, no more - required full banshee.  Chopo has offices all over Guad & their reliability (& accuracy in bloodwork too) has been proven to me 4 years.
