The lake is already very near to last years high and we still have two months to go before the usual peak.

It's certainly heading that way. I don't think they have even had a major dam opening yet. A bit of lirio to be seen but not nearly like it is when they open wide up.

Let's hope it can meet or beat 2020 (or better yet 2018). I suspect they started some dam openings as I saw some huge clumps of riverbank floating around yesterday.

Well the dams are certainly open now. The lake is filled with lirio. There are even chunks of riverbank, the size of small islands, floating around out there. Certainly one of the worst years for lirio in a while. The level is fast approaching last year's high (which peaked in December) and I suspect it will blow right past it.
