Traitte Delivery....Takes US Credit Cards

We are Traitte food delivery fans, but hadn't tried to use our cc before. Smooth as silk. And the eatery you order from does NOT have to take cc's...the charge is with Traitte, and with NO mark-up.

Is the delivery person usually able to give change? I rarely use cc here and the atm at Walmart for Bancomer usually spits out 1000 peso bills which I wouldn’t expect a driver to give change for on a 300 peso charge but I hope they could break a 500 peso bill.

I have never asked for change.  When I paid cash, I always had the exact amount including tip.  I do the same with all deliveries when not using cc's.  

I go to bank once a month and get 500's broken down to smaller bills and sometimes coins.  I do not have a MX bank account but MX banks are required by law to provide change to anyone requesting it.

And usually if they can process credit cards they can also process debit cards.

I usually pay cash, but I asked the driver what cards they take, he said only all mexican cards only....I would just do a card in emergency...

I have used a US credit card 3 times in past week.

Two different drivers; each has a chip reader on their phone.
