where is my furniture

In early December I ordered a Palliser made couch and loveseat from Oscar at IB furniture. Now it sits at Mexican customs (along with 41 other orders) in Laredo. Apparently it has been there for weeks causing Oscar to incur additional storage costs at the border.
What I conclude from this is that Mexico is not really open to business.

We ordered a leather sectional in January. Promised for June.

Sure hope I live long enough to sit on it. At least I haven't paid for it yet.

Went to Liverpool ordered my adjustable beds and some furniture hit 50% off and had it delivered in 3 weeks to our house.

Looks like buying local is the way to go.

i believe you are right about that sunfan!!!

A main issue to me is the fact that a legitimate local business is being harmed by unreasonable delays by Mexico Customs.
There should be a better balance between a store's right to import goods for resale and Mexico customs overzealousnesss. The goods have been sitting in Laredo for weeks.
