When you have too much money

I saw this parked at the Malecon yesterday. Maclaren 720S. They start around $350K USD and run up to $580K depending on options. Nice beach car.....lol.

Lol.....the first "tell" is the rims, tires and brake assemblies....probably 15K per wheel. Dual calipers and 18 inch carbon/ceramic rotors.

That went right over my head. First hubby bought a Harley... then a corvette. Riding in the corvette felt remarkably like dragging my a$$ over the road. It still only had four wheels and got you from point A to point B. Whatever works for you but, imho, your VW bug rocks. Unique.

Whilst I wonder how someone can spend $10K+ on a pair of shoes.........lol.

Can't wrap my head around that expenditure either. I can only justify the cost of Birkenstocks because they last forever.

Come on now, that is not that much. The last new car I purchased in Mexico cost me 60,000.000. Think about it, there are 100 centavos per peso or about 2,000 centavos per US Dollar.

So 60,000,000 for a new car in Mexico is quite normal, when talking in Mexican centavos.
