yes jip, things have changed a lot aroundand anywhere else for that matter, that is why I do not go back to places I liked..Except for Paris and other large cities, I am always disappointed when I go back to a place I used to like.

Absolutely loved San Miguel de Allende when we lived there from '96 to 2005. Do not like it now or in 2013 when we last visited. Don't like Collingwood, Ontario now either. Won't ever know about here because I'm not leaving. So, I'll remain a frog in the water that they'll slowly turn the heat up on until I croak.

I hear you loud and clear. We moved from CA to SMA in the mid seventies for three years. Big disappointment on various levels. Moved here in 2008. No regrets. lol!
