No. The CURP is one of several optional items on the form.

OK, apparently I misread the form. Thanks for the clarification Rolly. I thought all those boxes had to be filled in. Probably will go and check out the stun gun anyway. And thanks for all the information I have gotten from you over the 10 or more years I have been reading your posts on Mexconnect. I should have said it long before now, I was always a "lurker" in the past. :oops:

I plan on getting a TelCel sim card for my IPhone when I get down. Do I need to get a a CURP # first?

No, they will accept your passport number. Getting curp is easy though.

My CURP card and my "FM3" match and Telcel wanted one or the other. I went to Telcel office because I needed a Plan rather than a pay as you go. I hear the local shops that sell 'pay as you go' may come up with a CURP just to make the sale
