Truly sickening decor: This rug can make you seasick!

Some rugs are just plain ugly; others do nothing to enhance a room. But can the sight of a particular black-and-white rug pattern truly make people feel ill?

Yes, say researchers Frederick Bonato and Andrea Bubka at Saint Peter's College and their colleagues, who recently observed a "sickening rug phenomenon."

Looking at a picture of a black-and-white patterned rug for five minutes gave people "motion-sickness-like symptoms," reports a study in the journal Perception..........................

Obama is from Chicago I am sure he misses anyone who he needs at any given moment and than the missing is missing.
I gave him a chance and everything he hasn't done can't be blamed on the republicans. He reminds me of Clinton in so

If you have macular degeneration the black and white lines will look wavy and can cause the person to feel ill (nausea, dizziness, etc), it could also, possibly cause an epileptic seizure or some other kind of seizure.

Not counting getting sick by just looking at the ugly thing.

Downward spiraling? When he took office the S&P 500 was around 700. Today it is at 1345. The Dow bottomed at 6626 a few days after he took office. Today it is 12874.

hes right about the chinese. about the rug: i get sick looking @ most people. & i think thoughts like an arab. guess the visual climate's not good, all around. the rug is symbolic is of worlds demise.

I also believe this is the truth.

I am more scared of the Chinese owning much of the supply of rare
minerals of which you can't make high tech magnets and such which
are used in large amounts in high tech products like Priuses and such.
Cant make a good modern electric motor without. Africa is the next
largest supply of rare minerals and the Chinese are all over the place
building soccer stadiums and such obvious projects. One good thing
is the mines in the US are reopening to mine rare minerals but I doubt
if the supply is enough for our own uses no less export.

If you travel through the Caribbean or Africa you can't avoid the Chinese.
They are everywhere. I was in Dominica (one of Chavez ALBA leftist
partners) for a visit and the Chavez's soldiers were building an extention
on the airport and the Chinese were frantically building a soccer stadium
for the people. The Chinese bring everything with them including food.
They use very little local labor other than low tech workers. They spend
very little money in the community. They even bring there own water.
Africa is the same from talking to people. A very interesting experience
for me to see this. FYI Chavez's soldiers are very nice people who might
hate our government but were very nice to us when they found out we
were US folks. They were curious about us. I gave them a bottle of
Jack Daniels and they gave me a bottle of cuban rum and that is how it
ended other than a hangover from the rum. Back to Mount Gay rum from
Barbados for me :-)
