Tequila Republic was closed again today so we need another venue for tomorrow. It needs to be fairly central, accommodate 20 to 30 people in one area and have ample parking. I am thinking:

Wings Army @ Laguna Centro Mall

The Score @ Los Miche

Hacienda Ajijic Steakhouse @ West Ajijic

I need your suggestions ASAP. I will make the decision by 5:00pm.

Hacienda Ajijic has their $ 99. peso "Meat Special" tomorrow. A nice Filet Mignon, Vacio, Arrachara, Lamb Arrachara for cheap. The Filet good sized and excellent and is normally $ 160. pesos.

Because Tequila Republic doesn't appear to be in business we have changed the venue to Wings Army.

Wings Army is located beside the theaters in the Laguna Centro Mall which is right on the corner of the Caraterra and the Libreimento (sp).

Place: Wings Army
Time: 2:00pm
Date: Thursday, April 19/12

Hope to see everyone there. I will post a sign on the door at Tequila Republic for those that didn't read about the change in venue.

Dawg does not think that it is that Tequila Republic is no longer in business but that it has never been seriously in business to begin with. Dawg walks by that place on the Ajijic pier daily and has never seen a soul imbibing therein. Dawg has also made it a point to live on beaches from Gulf Shores, Alabama to Hermosa Beach, California to Mombasa, Kenya to Bombay (Mumbai), India to Penang, Maylasia and I have always found beach drinking joints to be normally highly successful places and cannot explain Tequila Republic´s lack of success over the past few years but I can say this about close-by alternatives.

Head over to Yves bar on the beach just a short walk from the pier for outstanding dry vodka martinis. Tell them Dawg sent you and when you say dry you mean dry. Don´t be drankin no sissy yankee wet martinis.
