There is actually a town called "Spuzzum"? That sounds like something you would apologize for having inadvertently done in the presence of others not of your close kin.

What the hell is a "remement"?

Dawg grew up in a South Alabama town with one Chinese fellow who ran a laundry, one Greek who ran a restaurant and one Jewish guy who owned a discount clothing store. Of the three thousand people living there, 1,500 were African Americans and 1,500 were, more or less, European Americans. One guy, inexplicably, was from New Jersey and drove, as one would expect, a bread truck.

Everybody in Dawg´s home town absloutely fit the stereotype of what you would expect up to and including the bank president whose wife took all his money before he killed himself with an insulin injection. I guess he got that job because his daddy was the bank president before he was but you all understand that sequence of events. Had his own coffee cup down at Mike Luvaikus´ Alabama Grill which was one fine Greek restaurant and they retired that coffee cup once that boy did himself in with that insulin. Great suvlaiki with rice but you could only get gin in a coffee cup and fine gin it was even if a bit illegal due to local prohibitionist tendencies.

I just lurk here, but so many thanks for that FUN FUN FUN video...the varoom, the speed, the confidence oh oh oh....I will need to go out for a fast drive today.

No, it was done with special effects. I know the Logistics company that brought that Mercedes into Canada under great secrecy as that commercial was made before the model was released to the public. It was shot quite a while ago.

Looks almost like when I rolled my 1994 Ford Thunderbird except mine was totalled.

Sooo much for that plan. The only reason I was going to buy one was to go up to the China Bar Tunnel and replicate the gag. Thanks CB for saving me from myself. Those Mercedes tricksters.
