Goddamned Commie Canadian. Every patriotic ´Mercan Ole Boy knows Labor Day is in September.

Back in the old days in Alabama the state authorities realized they had to recognize Martin Luther King´s birthday if they wanted to be re-elected (with the newly enfranchised African American population constituting 30% of the voters) so they created an occasion, and I kid you not, celebrating the birthdays of both Martin Luther King and Robert E. Lee simultaneously . Exquisite hypocrisy well demonstrated.

Personally, my favorite holiday is the day Dawg retired and moved to Mexico. Praise the Lord and pass the tamales.

US moved labor day from May 1 to September to keep us from being associated with the communist bastards on May Day.

May 1 is or was Women´s Day in communist countries and France, also was Labor Day in same countries.
Also is May Day in Great Britain with pole dancing (the old fashion type) and the day we offer each other lilies with 7 bells in France (Muguet day)
It is celebrated in many different ways in many countries communist or not.

Actually, John. That was supposed to be an amusing poke at U.S. insular politics (mainly Republicans) as I´m sure you will note upon reflection. On the other hand, you could be simply kidding The Dawg so I forgive your little jibe.

Those "dangerous" folks in the photo are the very antithesis of the notion of "labor" except for Alabama high school administrative staff in the teachers´ lounge during a seminar on how to graduate retards like Dawg before the age of 30 to make room for more retards.
