Best swarm yet, great food, company, conversation and the oysters on the half shell were delicioso! It was nice to see all the new faces and one suspicious looking fellow calling himself Mexico Pete. Could it have been the nicest guy living lakeside? Me wonders.

Great, I've got you fooled, Bob :) I'm evil and only take one bath once per month, and this time because I'm short of money it's been almost two months. But tonight's the night :) Sorry I couldn't have made it before the swarm.

Do you know what I missed? I got to meet some great people, but I couldn't match the names many post under with their faces. Oh well, I'll get over it.

I'm sure glad to be back home. Up north is great, but lakeside is so much better.

And I am looking forward to seeing the pictures taken at the party by Canuck Bob

Dawg is surprised to note that the Cedar Rapids Elks Lodge has al fresco dining and allows women into their dining adventures. It also amazes me how many goobers can be fed on one can of pork & beans and one loaf of Bimbo "reglar" bread with peanut butter. Dawg would have been there to add even more humor to the photos but was delivering Dawgette to the airport for a flight to Chiapas. Judging by the pictures, the GOBS and GOBBETTES did not need me to add color to the photos.

I didn't recogize Pete either! Saw the finger and passed on by....our Pete? Giving the bird? Who'd a thunk it!!!
