Tree Service Needed

There is a huge Indian Laurel tree that is dying on the lot next door and one huge branch has fallen already into our yard and on the wall with at least two more to go. Does anyone have the name of a good tree service. We got one quote for 8,000 pesos and he was supposed to be the cheap guy!!! They don't even have to haul it away, just leave it in the lot. Please help with any information. Thanks.

2 Mexican guys with a chainsaw and 2 hours work $1,500 pesos, 300 pesos to haul wood away. Am I missing something? $8,000 pesos, I'm in the WRONG business!

Intercasa, I agree with you. And what is the average annual salary around here and these guys want 8,000 P just to cut it down? Give me a break!!! We have gotten several referrals and I will let you know how it turns out. The sad thing is it isn't even our tree!!!!

I used him once for a palm tree (removing fronds & pods); his 1st quote was too high, but he agreed to the price I suggested (based upon the previous year - Roberto).

He speaks no English, but understood my Spanglish.
