I could not get the lik to work.

I know that after Paw Prints on my Heart was banned from the Ojo del Lago, ,Gudrun Jones went to the Chapala Review to see if Darrel would take her article. He told her he would give her a double page to write anything she wanted but not animal related. quote "He did not want to upset the Ojo del Lago." This comes from Gudrun's husband who was with her when this conversation took place. Gudrun declined to write for the Chapala Review.

It is a crying shame that there are people here who use their money (power) to intimidate others, rather than work for the common good.

Gudrun Jones and "The Ranch" should not be held hostage by the "Ojo del Lago" for any reason. The controlling powers seem to be mean-spirited and selfish (as per ToB). Power = Corruption!! :face:

These negative actions by the two publications serve to show their true feelings about the health and well-being of the community. It would seem to me that they would want the animals to be healthy and find homes, rather than be homeless and spread garbage and disease in the neighborhoods.

This thread got a little side-tracked, so I'm trying to get it back on the rails.

There have been some e-mails exchanged between a friend of mine and the two parties to this disagreement, Hauser & Tenenbaum. As Arte Johnson (the German character on "Laugh In") used to say: "Ver-r-r-r-r-y inter-r-r-r-estink!"

Hauser was informative and provided a link to his website.

Tenenbaum was defensive (offensive) and belligerent.

Sort of tell-tale signs.

Even if it`s free, they should be ashamed if you use them for anything but your garbage!
