I noticed that there was a dump truck and a track hoe working up on the mountain again, behind Vista Alegre.
They had stopped work back in March due to some problems with their permitting, and I haven't seen anything in the papers to say that it has been resolved, so I was surprised.
Today there are two track hoes, and a white pickup truck up there.
Hope they're just cleaning up any washout caused by the rain and that they are not resuming the excavation.
Anyone seen anything indicating the permitting is resolved?
