Thanks ferret, we just got off the phone to number 1 son. He's in Burlington, but said the worst of the winds have passed. WOW!!!!!

This is looking almost as bad as hurricane Hazel, back in prehistoric times.

If you look at the map shown in the above link, it looks like Toronto is still due more of the storm in about 24 to 36 hours.

Well...can tell you from Connecticut it sucks....no power still and large trees accross streets and power lines everywhere....got back to work today which has power and internet....can't wait to just be lakeside with you guys

The photos and videos are overwhelming!

I for one have been impressed by the lack of reports of any looting. I did see a few minor reports out of Philadelphia and apparently there is some apprehension about the ongoing lack of electricity and the opportunities it may present:

Looting was reported in both NY and NJ yesterday and officials are now asking people on the streets for ID to link them to the neiborhood
