DVD Duplication Empty DVD Duplication

Post by hkrause Thu Nov 29, 2012 2:26 pm

Anybody have recommendations on a place to get maybe 50-100 DVDs made? I have a 2-DVD set and need to get duplicates made to sell (yeah, it's my stuff and legal). Would be good if they include jewel cases and printing covers as well. This is a project to benefit Cruz Roja - all money goes to them, so somebody that might offer a nice price for charity would be handy. Thanks for any input!

That's a very good deal, GVprod. When I was doing web consulting I used to recommended Diskmakers.com to my musician and film clients. Theirs is self-service for about the same price you charge for (I am assuming) full-service.

Thanks, gvprod. I'm not sure how much it would add to the cost for shipping and whatever duty.

My lowest cost option is to just keep burning these one at a time on my computer's DVD burner, but it's a pretty slow process and my burner has started to get flaky. Another option I guess is to get a stand-alone DVD duplicator... anybody know where to buy one Lakeside or in Guad? That plus some bulk DVD+R's and jewel cases might be less than having somebody else burn them. I'll have to check the break-even point.

Thanks for any input to assist in helping Cruz Roja!

You could just get an external DVD drive that plugs into your current computer. I think anyone selling computers or computer accessories would have these.

Thanks, CB. I was thinking duplicator because I already have an internal DVD burner, and for not much more I could get a duplicator that does 3 at a time instead of just one. But jury's still out... depends on who I could find in this area to duplicate for how much, and how many Cruz Roja wants burned. Have no idea yet how many they think they'll sell.
