I was reading Rolling Stone a couple of months behind and I suddenly knew that David Bowie put out the first new studio album in 10 years. Anybody heard it?? Anybody else want a music forum??

Chillin, might I suggest you not click on anything that you perceive as stoner age music. There are many people here, and I am sure that there will be more than just stoner music to offend your auditory senses.

In the last week +/- I've heard about new releases by Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix (still dead!) but had not heard about Bowie. My ears aren't worth much for listenin' to music anymore, pretty much just there to hold up my glasses.

I'd love a music forum. It reminds you of old favourites and introduces you to new artists that you've never heard of before. Best of both worlds.
I prefer to click on links rather than have them imbedded into the forum though...that way I can use all of my computer screen. I had to go hunt for the Riverdance video because the small imbedded link did not do them justice. Love to watch Riverdance.

Hey Zed...I have not heard the new album but have been a fan for a long time.
One of my absolute wildest nights was when Dali and I were invited by Andy Warhol and his gang to the Valentines day concert at Radio City Music Hall, NY. Ziggy Stardust Tour.Got to get backstage and meet Bowie, who was wearing green glitter lipstick and a pretty fine dress.....strange times and people to match

The next day by bowie can be heard on you tube. For me its a big disappointment. Maybe hes getting too old, or its me...

Anybody under 50 to help me moderate? Popular music stopped for me with
rap in 1990. Jazz/classical/oldies/classic rock I know. I do follow mexican
reggaeton and Big Banda like Carnival. Would be really cool to get a young
person to expose us dinos to new stuff. I would have never discovered reggaeton
if I had not talked to a young person here. Any body else listen
to Pitbull or Daddy Yankee LOL or Carnival banda? Yea I know I am square but I
enjoy what I enjoy.
