Wedding Planner

does anyone have a suggestion of a good wedding planner for this area? Gracias

Think you are going to be out of luck around here.. Its certainly not the norm for mexicans, infact i doubt if they have even heard of it, the families do all the organizing. Just a sala de eventos, some music and a few drinks and food. Sorted...

I have two younger friends who recently got married lakeside. It was a fancy wedding with all of the trimmings. and although they did not use a wedding planner, they said yes wedding planners are available.

If that's you John, (hickton) I'm just saying that the couple said wedding planners are available in Guadalajara, but I do not know how to get ahold of one

In this area they specialize in FUNERAL planners!

I do not think this will help that much. They are in Guadalajara, and in Spanish. I will ask some locals what they do, and let you know.

Lots of experienced wedding planners at the beach, and I know of a super one in Sayulita. It's a resort sort of thing, not so much in God's Waiting Room.

Camille is right, I know a super one in Sayulita too. On the beach in front of Villa Amor would be the nicest place in all of Mexico I could think of to get married.

From my wanderings through the TripAdvisor travel forums, there appears to be quite a few operating out of San Miguel de Allende and Mexico City.

I know a great one at the beach, also. In San Pancho, north of Puerto Vallarta and just a stone's throw from Sayulita.

I also know someone locally, right here smack dab in Ajijic/Chapala. Shoot me a private message with your details if you want to hear more about her.
