great stough! now here's a coulpla other white boys on their fenders, jeff healy and stevie ray vaughan. jeff went to etobicoke collegiate,same high school i went to but waaaay before him.
this link doesn't seem to want to work so look up jeff on youtube if yer inerested. he makes vaughan sound like an amateur. unfortunately both are dead now.

There actually was an Ike side to the story. However, the two of them agreed that it was in the best interests of them both if he just kept his mouth shut and played along.

first we got john lee hooker doing one of my favourites. i actually saw him doing this at the purple onion in tranna [1964?]but with no band. just him backed up by a drum machine. the next vid is a young fella and his band doing a cover,recorded in 1964 at the height of what was called the "toronto sound" fer rock. the kid sat in with hooker the night i was there and did a real crappy job of singing the song with him. but oh well. he sweated a lot and shed some blood etc and moved on.
