That's way cool. Thanks for posting the link. I've "bean" wondering about silly regional pronunciations for a long time. I did see one exception: In Boston your barrister is a "law-ya." Bostonians take the R from words such as lawyer and add it to words that need one, such as "lore," which is what they say for LAW.
