VICAM BLOCKADE HOURS

We just arrived at C D Obregon, immediately got the following info from front desk for travelers.


BLOCKADE HOURS

Highway 15 closed both directions...........8:00AM - 12: NOON and 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM


Highway 15 open both directions.............12:00 NOON - 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Obviously subject to change, but Deb is now happy camper....leaving @ 6 AM, instead of 2:30 AM

Sounds like the protesters are working banker's hours.

I feel sorry for the truckers, and agree with the Indians about water rights.....really thankful they put up a schedule so people can adjust their travel schedule, as day time temps are brutal this time of year.

Reminder to anyone traveling 15 corridor.....when booking reservation in CD OBREGON, ask the hotel to confirm blockade hours.......this blockade will likely continue till the snow hits.........no end in site......2nd full month.
