For those with a VPN service in Mexico, you may find these two episodes from the 1960's TV show I Spy interesting.  Back then, they actually shot on location.

This first episode starts off at the Guadalajara airport and moves on to San Miguel de Allende and then to the island of Janitzio on Lake Patzcuaro:
