it's taking forever for page to load and i tried to change my avatar but it wouldn't work and lost avatar altogether.

couldn't get on chapala.com at all but my forum and facebook -no problema. my download speed is fine-4.51

still can't put up an avatar and the pages take ferever ta load even though it's loaded but the green thingy is still going round and round like it didn't

Well I haven't researched it yet but there could be a limited amount of space given to each member to upload avatars. Being that you have uploaded more avatars than just about anyone else perhaps you have reached your limit. I will look into it when I get a few minutes.

i put this one on from your avatar gallery so why couldn't i do it from my files? space should have nothing to do with it as the forum would not store them.

getting stranger. this is not the avatar i selected from my files. i even moved the one i wanted to my desk top from"my pictures" and this was not it. are things going viral?

as you can see. the avatar thingy is finally working again. just wanted to show that manly men wear something other than pants on occasion.
i also played hockey wearing yvonne's tights a la joe namath. they worked better than long johns.

have you figgered out what may have happened? i ran my antivirus and nada. it was fouling up for about 3 days.
my new avatar is even slightly ovesize at 179x200 but wasn't rejected.

No, because 99.9% of the time the problem resolves itself such as in this case. Had it still be happening I would begin to look into it.
