directions to villahermosa and bypass Mexico City

Anyone with experience driving to Villahermosa while avoiding Mexico City? Directions will be greatly appreciated!

Although I've not actually done it (many others have) it is now easy to avoid DF by using the 'new' Arco Norte Cuota.

Directions: Cuota 15D Guadalajara towards Mexico City. At Atlacomulco (400 km?), join the Arco Norte 55D Cuota towards Jilotepec and stay on Arco for a long time (225km?) as it skirts north of DF over to the east side finally exiting on Cuota 150D just west of Puebla. Stay on 150D east then 145D Cuota east until you reach Villahermosa. The Arco Norte has (did have?) very few Pemex stations so fill up when you can.

Use Google maps to see this route. Type in Ajijic and Villahermosa as your "A" and "B" end points.
