The last contact agents had with their supervisors was on Sunday Nov. 3rd between 7 and 8 p.m. Later it was learned, they had not arrived at their at their destination (BOM), base of mixed operation, in Briseñas, Cumuato. They were feared kidnapped.

Immediately elements were dispatched to search for them. They "combed" the area, all night and early morning, but to no avail. Later on, that Monday morning Nov. 4, they found the green pick up truck in which the missing PGR federal agents, René Rojas Marquez and Gabriel Quijadas Santiago had last been seen driving the night before. It was burned, abandoned on land located at kilometer 4, in the vicinity Cumuato, on the highway from Sahuayo to Vista Hermosa.

    Who freaking cares?    Are you trying to help us long term residents?   Trying to scare potential members of our Lakeside community?   Since most of us can read the paper and follow the news, WTF?

WTF are you talking about? I just listed my home in Casa Grande for sale, and can't wait to get TF out of the USA! While there will always be mass graves in Mexico, cartel related, their have been a dozen murders in the Phoenix area this week. I am moving back full time, primarily because of the lack of accessible MD here. After 3 weeks of searching I finally found an MD taking new Medicare patients! I made an appointment......earliest I could get was December 12. Having lived @ Lakeside have gotten spoiled......usually see MD within 48 hours unless it was an emergency. 

In Mexico when there are mass killings the bad guys bury the bodies. In the U.S. they just leave them lying on the floor of the schools, movie theatres, shopping malls and airports.

Wow Jim...maybe up north a little too long (crankiness setting in).

Ran across this information and didn't see anything mentioned about it on this site. Merely an FYI - not meant to scare anyone...we are fully aware of the crimes and murders NOB and the numbers in which they exceed here. Believe it or not information is not a one size fits all...what one individual may find boring, or their perception of the intent of information being shared, others may find interesting, useful, or helpful to others.

Good luck with the sell of your home. I agree full heartedly that we are indeed very fortunate with MD access in Mexico! :)

Totally understand! Look forward to you and Deb returning to Mexico. We just had some friends from Mazatlan that were in Ajijic visiting...would have loved to hook you up with them as they are avid golfers.
