Property taxes Empty Property taxes

With the new year coming up the property taxes are due. Can someone tell me the process for paying these in Ajijic? Should we expect something in the mail or just go somewhere and pay them? Is there an office in Ajijic or is it in Chapala?

chapala city hall and if you pay early you get a discount. go there on the main floor and they will tell you what you owe. that's where you pay your water bill too.

You need to present the bill that was paid the previous year.

The water bills for Ajijic would be paid at Simapa on Guad. Victoria.

I have not had to have a previous tax bill in hand for the past couple of years. Just the official address and make SURE that the name on the taxes is the correct one. I think the need for an actual bill has changed over the years since we have been here as the computerization has become more sophisticated.

If you have a previous bill the official address is on it and you do not need to chek anything..
