Swarm 18 - First swarm of the year

Thank you, Pete. I was unable to attend the swarm but am planning a visit soon. What do you recommend for a first time visitor? There would probably be four of us.

The Pizzas are Simple, but Good.... I like the taste from the Wood Fired Ovens...
I had a Gyro... Bob raved about em... it was Good

One of the interesting menu items (which I had) is a baked potato, loaded with 3 toppings of your choice. They didn't list the toppings, but I assume it's about anything they have for the pizzas, pasta, etc. Mine came with butter, sour cream and bacon. The potato is properly cooked (not under or over done), split, and swimming in toppings. I would have actually preferred a little less topping, or a more solid sour cream (it was runny), but it was easy enough to eat around it. If you're not a big eater or terribly hungry, I could see one of the potatoes being a nice meal.

I also had the Caesar salad. Whole leaf lettuce with dressing, topped with Parm cheese (lots of it). It was quite good, but not particularly special. A nice side to round out the potato meal since I didn't have veggie on that.

BTW, they also have crepes on the menu, with your choice of 3 toppings (again, not listed, but probably the same items available for potato topping).

Looks as if there's more to the menu than one might expect! Thanks for piquing my curiosity!
