Learn To Play Bridge

You have heard your friends and neighbors talk about what a wonderful card game bridge is. Here is your opportunity to learn to play.

The Lake Chapala Duplicate Bridge Club will be starting lessons for beginners starting March 11th. The beginner lessons will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 AM until noon and will continue for four weeks.

The course will be taught by Mr. Lew Crippen who is a longtime life master, lakeside resident and very experienced teacher. You will learn the basic principles of the game including bidding, responding and play of the cards. The cost for the beginner class is only $250 MXN and includes the textbook which is a $12.00 US value.

After the beginner course there will be an intermediate beginner course for those that wish to continue or those that already know the basics of the game of bridge.

This class will start April 8th and will run for six weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 AM until noon. This course will cover competitive bidding and the use of bidding conventions. The cost for the intermediate beginner class in only $400 MXN and includes two textbooks which are a $12.00 US value each.

You do not need a partner to participate in these classes and the classes have been designed for people of all ages.
