Breakfast and free Spanish lessons
There is a hotel/restaurant at 29 Zarragoza (the end near the plaza) called Meson Don Quijote, that is offering breakfast followed by an hour of free Spanish instruction. The breakfast menu looks good and the prices are good- coffe, tea, fruit. eggs any style or Spanish omelette or French toast for 75 pesos. Breakfast is served from 9:00 - 9:45 and the Spanish Lesson is from 10 to 11. I have not eaten there, so I can't comment on the food and I have no idea how the owner handles differing levels of Spanish. But it sounded like an interesting venture.

Jaja........with the inflation rate in Mexico it feels like 75 pesos will soon be the norm.
Re: Breakfast and free Spanish lessons
I thought dollar for dollar breakfasts tended to be a rather expensive meal out.
lunch and dinners are a much better value for the money.
75 pesos for bacon, a couple of eggs, toast & coffee seems high....

Yeah, I couldn't believe what they are charging at KFC. Pretty much the same prices as NOB. Other than for maybe some taxes, insurances, healthcare and dental, Mexico isn't going to be much of a bargain if the inflation rate remains well above Canada and the US unless the value of the peso plummets.

....and a few scones slathered with butter and blackthorn jam....as I'm thinking about a double order of chips for lunch.
Zen....Arthur is having a birthday party in Guadalajara on the 15th of Sept., but you can celebrate up there in the north.
