Car registration renewal cost for 2015 is 476 pesos
If you pay in January you get a discount and only pay 405 pesos
If you pay in February you get a discount and only pay 428 pesos
If you pay in March you get a discount and only pay 472 pesos
You can pay in banks but they may charge a commission from 5 to 13 pesos depending on the bank. You can also pay at convenience stores or online with a credit or debit card at sepaf.jalisco.gob.mx

Se puede pagar en bancos pagando una comisión que va de los cinco a los 13 pesos, depende de la institución bancaria
El pago también se puede hacer en tiendas de conveniencia
Se puede pagar vía electrónica en la página: sepaf.jalisco.gob.mx con tarjeta de crédito o débito.

How do you pay at a bank or convenience store? Just show them your registration?

The banks probably know how, as for convenience stores, if you get a clueless clerk then good luck.

Two years ago I used the online system to renew and pay online for my refrendo.
The paperwork and sticker were never delivered to my home as advertised.
I finally picked it up in June.
Last year I gave it another try. I could not pay online, but was able to print an invoice which I could pay at the bank (with a small surcharge).
I could not pick up the final product in March (home delivery, what's that?).
I could not pick up the final product in April, and, since I went nob this year, I finally got the sticker in October.
I wonder what I will do this year?

It is just as easy to go to the main office in Chapala and get it all done that same day.

Someone mentioned that your office will pay the car registration, for a fee obviously. If this is the case, what do I need to bring to Denise to arrange this .... (first year to the process).

I see from my recibo for renewal that a 40 pesos charitable donation to the Jalisco Cruz Roja was tacked onto my cost. I thought this was optional.

We just need plate and VIN number or ideally we will make a copy of last years paper. We charge 150 pesos to wait in line plus the 405 peso annual fee. Wait times have been 30 minutes to 1.5 hours, just depends.
