Engish/Spanish flashcards
My wife is looking for flashcards to buy. She tried LCS, but you have to be taking their Spanish lessons.

Re: Engish/Spanish flashcards
You will learn much faster by purchasing blank cards and making your own flash cards. It forces you to look up words & phrases, check the translation and write them correctly on the cards; Spanish one side, your language on the other.
Using pre-printed cards causes you to use rote memory, which is short term only and not as effective a method.

Thanks but asked for cards not advice, I'm fairly fluent
my wife wants them. Some memorization is good for vocabulary.

Re: Engish/Spanish flashcards
There are electronic flash card programs available free on the internet. Anki is one of the best -- free download at http://ankisrs.net/ There is a wide selection of card sets with popularity ratings, at https://ankiweb.net/shared/decks/spanish
There are free versions of the program for windows, android and others, but one of them, for iphones I think, costs $25. You can use your own settings, but by default you get 20 new words a day plus review words/phrases/sentences. After you check your answer you get a selection of when you want to see the word again, for example, 1 minute, 10 minutes, 1 day, 3 days or more. The program calculates what choices it thinks you need.

Tell her to go to Duolingo.com it is free and they do flash cards, phrases etc. It is a pretty good program, best of all, FREE.
