The menu pictured is the old one converted to b&w for contrast. The new menu shows a 5 peso price increase per dish, still the best deal around.

Well John, I guess it depends on how you define Mexican Food. Here are some examples off their menu:
Huevos Pahques y Tocina = Eggs, Pancakes and Bacon
Omelete Vegetariano = Vegetarian Omelette
Plato de Fruta = Fruit Plate
Cafe = Coffee
Camarones al Mojo de Ajo = Shrimp in Garlic Sauce
Filete Empanizado = Breaded Fish Fillet
Ensalada de Pollo Asado = Grilled Chicken Salad
T-Bone (Orden grande) = T-Bone (Large Order)
Arroz con Pollo = Chicken with Rice
Cerveza = Beer
The menu goes on and on and does include many traditional Mexican dishes such as Enchiladas Rancheras (Con Queso) but I'd suggest you play it safe and not go. Your palate, stomach and brain may think they've been fooled into ingesting Mexican food.

Re: Los 5 Potrillios
To my way of thinking (Mexican), any food grown, prepared, and eaten in Mexico....is Mexican food. Only a person on a strict diet of imported products, prepared at home, could avoid "Mexican food". A bogus terminology, if ever there was one. Most Mexicans in the US don't care where it was grown, if they prepare it and eat it there....and I have known rednecks in Texas that would eat chiles that would heat a whole house on a cold day.

Re: Los 5 Potrillios
It was excellent as usual this evening. This is one of the "must try" restaurants in the area IMO.
Re: Los 5 Potrillios
We need to convince the owner of this fine restaurant to open a second one in Chapala.

Bob's torturing himself, itching so bad to move down here.
Pancho's catered numerous events for us and other friends over the years. Best Mexican food around. We're regular home delivery customers :) Nice people.

WOW, didn’t know about the home delivery and we’ve been here for years. Thanks, we love their food! Mexican or whatever.
