I use a fellow named Chino. He does about 100 pools in the area. He is a small business with one or two helpers. I pay him $700 pesos per month for two weekly cleanings and all the chemicals. My pool is not that big so I imagine he will charge more for larger pools. You can't beat this deal.

We used to get our gardener but he wasn't doing a good job at cleaning the pool so I told him to leave it. We now hire Taylor Pools. He has a few guys hired to do the cleaning and our guy, Salvador, knows what he's doing. I also switched to a pool company to care for the pool because we had an issue with water draining out and our gardener had no idea what was wrong with it. Carlos Taylor of Taylor Pools knew what was wrong right away and came the next day to fix it. Bingo, he was hired.

Our pool is cleaned 2 times per week and I provide all the chemicals.
The cost is 400 pesos/month.

The gardner told me he was shown how to take care of the pool by the owner who had the pool built and that was 30 years ago. We had a pool in California so we first supervised him but he know wat he is doing with the pool so he takes care of it and that is about it. We sure are happy we do not have to hire someone else.

Carlos Taylor, he knows his stuff and is reliable. His staff are all excellent.

We found Taylor unreliable when left on his own to look after the pool. Chino was great and all was perfect when we returned after a week or three. I do not believe Chino speaks any english but could be wrong.

Chino's English is getting pretty good now. I have no problem communicating with him.
