TMZ reported that Prince was treated for a drug overdose 6 days prior to his death. There were no private rooms available so he checked himself out against doctors recommendations.

I was afraid this was going to come up. That 'he had the flu' story stunk. I will be interesting to find out the actual cause of death.

He took a lot of pain meds because he needed a double hip replacement & he didn't want to have it done because it would require a blood transfusion which was against his Jehovah's Witness religion. I think he also had knee problems.

I agree Flamingo, it was beautiful and touching. Also his later interview with the young lady who was his "muse".
