Looking for regular duplicate bridge partner

I am looking for a duplicate bridge partner to play regularly (twice a week), who is willing/interested in a slightly non-standard version of Standard American bidding (strong 1C, weak NT).  Have already advertised at the duplicate club, but no takers.  I would like to develop a competitive team, so I anticipate some study and practice outside of actual playing.  Let me know if you are interested.

Do you mean Precision? Lots of people at the club play Precision. I played it many, many years ago. Too easy for the opponents to interfere IMHO.

Yeah, a version of Precision Club. I think there is one other couple that occasionally plays Precision at the duplicate club, otherwise I am the only one. I am hoping this will be more attractive if I advertise it as Standard American or 2/1 with a strong 1C convention.

I haven't had much problem with interference. By establishing some conventions on how to handle interfering bids it becomes quite dangerous for the opponents.

No, thanks, my calendar is full, but you should be able to find someone. How many master points do you have? Most people want to know that before they'll respond. Have you posted on the club website?

I only have a handful of master points at the club. Although I have been playing on and off for 50 years I have only been a member of the ACBL for a year and dropped it. I have indeed posted on the club website.
