Car rental insurance PAI, still? Empty Car rental insurance PAI, still?

Hi,

Has  there been a change in the requirement for purchasing Personal Accident Insurance when renting a car in Mexico? The last time I tried I was informed (at the desk in the airport) that they needed me to take PAI at US$20 per day.

Is that still the case?

No change that I am aware of. If anything it is probably more $$ than the last time as insurance rates keep going up.
