This charming, new one-bedroom casita in Chapala is ready for a Winter or long-term rental. The fully furnished apartment is on the second floor, has an open layout living/dining/kitchen, great light (2 skylights), lots of storage, bedroom and patio have views of the mountains and there is a washer. The location is perfect: across the street from the Cristiania Park, 1 block to the Malecon, and 5 min walk to all stores downtown. We would welcome a small quiet dog. Rent is $400/month and does not include utilities but the new solar hot water system will keep the gas bill extremely low. There is already internet in the casita. Is your friend flexible on the rent for a long term commitment? I have a friend who would be interested, but 400 is over her budget.
