Free HBO, Showtime, Starz, Cinemax Etc on US DirecTV

I am a little late reporting this. But there are some of us Snowbirds who get our TV up North on DirecTV (USA) who rent an extra receiver for $5.95 US per month plus sales tax bring the receiver down with us and hook it up to a 2.4 meter (almost 8 Ft) satellite dish with three LNBs ,each pointed at a different satellite and watch US TV down here. Many have no choice. If they want TV in their condo they choose either Cable, or if you are lucky Satellite TV which can also watched down here.

Well this weekend for those who do not pay for (subscribe to) HBO, Cinemax, Starz, Showtime, the Movie Channel or any other extra movie channel, Direct TV is offering these programs for free. The Channel numbers go from 500 to 575 where 47 of these HD channels have programming and about 30 of which have sufficient signal strength to be received lakeside and watched for free this weekend. I don't know if this free period includes Monday which is also a holiday in the US. It's Presidents day which is a holiday and makes it a three day weekend.
