English speaking radio

Is there an English speaking radio show available at Lakeside?

Sometimes someone rebroadcasts NPR down around 101 on the fm dial. I suggest you get an internet radio or use your laptop with a bluetooth speaker. Most stations these days are on the internet. I use a service called Calm Radio from Canada which supplies 70 music stations with no talk. Paid for a lifetime license.

The Boston NPR station can be found at 107.1 FM in much of the Ajijic area during the snowbird station.

The signal comes via the internet and is rebroadcast from a legal and therefore very weak FM transmitter. I understand the output power is somewhere around I watt

If the Bose St-10 is an internet radio yes it speaks english. If it is a plain old AM/FM radio here it probably won't speak english other than the NPR channel that is rebroadcast on local FM 107 from the internet.

  YES, if you want it to. It depends upon what you connect or link it to.

This is all you need English, Spanish, talk and music. You can download it from play store also so you can listen on your cell phone.

It will play virtually any radio station you have ever heard back wherever you came from and would ever want to travel to. It's a fantastic means to listening to anything you could ever want!

There are many Canadian FM radio stations available on Shaw too. Sometimes I put on the Vancouver Rock station on a Friday afternoon to listen to the traffic/weather reports in between the songs and have a good chuckle.
